Abhishek Choudhury is a postgraduate in rural management with specialisation in microfinance, rural marketing and livelihoods. During his time at FWWB, he was involved in appraisals of start up MFIs as well as in monitoring MFIs which had been given loan/grant assistance. He has also been working on providing capacity building and technical inputs to MFIs in the areas of accounts, financial management, MIS, operations, internal audit and control etc. He has earlier worked as an Audit Assistant with a Chartered Accountancy firm, conducting statutory, concurrent and internal audits of commercial banks, construction companies, power generation companies etc. His interest areas are internal audit and control, financial planning/management, operations management, and financial product design.
