Anurodh Giri is a Science graduate from Magadh University, Bihar and then completed his MBA in Marketing from ICFAI Business School - Mumbai, where he was a merit scholarship holder.

Anurodh worked for ICICI Bank for three years, where he was responsible for product management of trade and treasury products for small & medium agri enterprises (SMEs). He was also responsible for derivatives portfolio monitoring with additional responsibility of reduction of derivative non performing asset portfolio of the bank. He also conducted market research to understand the business model, credit requirements and viable business opportunities for SME sector. He then structured credit norms, parameterised the credit calculator and rolled out the Product (Mid-Cap Credit-MCC) and process for lending to small and medium agri enterprises.

At MicroSave Anurodh has worked in India and the Philippines on market research on agent networks for e-/m-banking systems, reviewed internal audit and controls, analysed and developed value chains, and conducted institutional reviews of leading MFIs. His areas of interest include market research, small business and livelihoods development.
