Anil Paul

Anil Paul is a qualified lawyer. For seven years he was a practicing lawyer and legal consultant for various NBFCs and banks. He worked with ESAF (a NGO for micro enterprise development) as a Manager Credit & Operations and was responsible for heading the product team for credit which included Regional managers, Area Managers, Branch Managers and other staff, He was also involved in planning and implementation of activities, general administration of branch offices, liaison, and manage funds flow for credit operations.

While at ESAF he has attended MicroSave trainings on product costing, strategic business planning and process mapping. He also completed CGAP certified course on business planning for MFIs. During his time at MicroSave, Anil has worked extensively on process mapping in India and the Philippines, and played a key role in preparing the legal components of MFI out of a box. His areas of interest include strategic business planning, process mapping, costing and pricing of financial services and internal audit & controls.
