AMI India 2009 Completed Successfully

The third batch of AMI graduated on 24th July, 2009. In this third year of AMI, there were 60 participants representing 36 institutions from India and the Philippines. Participants were from MFIs, Banks and networks. Participants were trained on 7 themes.......each session involving a lot of discussion and interactions. Learning by doing is the philosophy of AMI and all sessions had exercises designed to learn to enhance skills in using them. Participants appreciated the training methodologies used in the sessions, which reinforced their learning.
The plenary sessions on contemporary topics received huge appreciation, as participants interacted with the eminent personalities of the sector. The speakers helped develop the perspective on which the technical sessions were delivered.
A 15 day residential programme was a great time to interact and share and peer learning was a key take away, especially as participants were across borders.
AMI was not only learning, but fun too, as participants spent the weekends and free time in the forts and palaces of Jaipur, being on a shopping spree and enjoying the facilities at the resort.
