Graham A.N. Wright helped design and establish the MicroSave programme and is currently Programme Director for India. Graham pioneered much of the core of market-led approach used by MicroSave – in particular the Market Research for MicroFinance tools. He has had a career of two decades of development experience under pinned by five years of experience in management consultancy, training and audit with a leading accounting firm in Europe. He is a reformed Chartered Accountant. More

David Cracknell is the Programme Director for Africa and has extensive experience of helping MFIs and commercial banks in Eastern and Southern Africa to move onto a market-led approach to microfinance. He has played a key role in the development of MicroSave's training toolkits and authored many papers on topics including e-banking, delivering savings services, costing and pricing etc. More

Manoj K Sharma is a development finance and SME specialist with nearly two decades of experience, and coordinates the MicroSave India operations. During his time at SIDBI, Manoj was part of the SME financing team which negotiated a USD 225 million assistance package with a consortium led by the World Bank and comprising of DFID, KfW and GTZ. Manoj was responsible for the fund and programme management of the TA sub-component of USD 22 million for conceptualising and operationalising developmental activities in clusters. Manoj also worked extensively to conceptualise and implement programmes for promotion of micro enterprises and creation of livelihood opportunities in rural areas. Currently the programme is underway in more than 65 geographical locations in India and has led to promotion of more than 17,500 enterprises. More

Henry Sempangi is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in UK (FCCA) and he also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting and currently manages MicroSave’s Uganda Office. Henry has extensive experience in microfinance development – both on the demand- and supply-side - throughout the East/South African region. More

Brett Hudson Matthews earned his MBA (finance) from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and his MA (international development) at the University of Toronto. Brett has 16 years of experience in banking and microfinance. Since 2002 Brett has consulted independently for various clients including MEDA, DAI, CARE and Oikocredit. From 2003-06 he served as technical advisor to the Canadian Co-operative Association in the development of the Cambodian Community Finance Network (CCFiN), a network that grew under his leadership to encompass one thousand villages and 58,000 retail members. Chris Linder has over 12 years of experience in microfinance, community development finance, SME development and commercial banking with expertise in conducting due diligence/financial analyses, improving borrower preparedness, structuring transactions and providing technical assistance to practitioners. More

Trevor Mugwang’a focuses primarily on the supply side activities, providing advice and assistance on risk management, credit systems, costing and pricing of financial services as well as planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating product pilot tests and rollouts. He also carries out analysis and review activities with respect to financial management and planning, marketing as well as policies and procedures. More

Madhurantika Moulick has undertaken multiple technical assistance and training assignments in process mapping, market research for microfinance, costing and pricing, product marketing, customer service, pilot testing, product roll out, risk analysis and management, loan portfolio audit, strategic business planning and strategic marketing in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Tanzania, South Africa, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and India. She has developed her skills in training delivery, presentations, advanced excel and report writing through her assignments in a variety of financial institutions – NGOs, MFIs and commercial banks. Peter Mukwana has over a decade of experience in microfinance. Peter has extensive experience in training and conducting “Market Research for MicroFinance” and related strategic marketing work in East Africa and elsewhere. This has provided him valuable opportunities to evaluate the institutional and client level of microfinance programmes in the region. More

Raj Kumar is a Post Graduate diploma holder in Rural Management from IRMA with over nine years of work experience. As a programme leader at SRIJAN, he was leading four large rural development projects in the economically and socially backward districts and was managing 5 teams consisting of 27 professionals in the area of agri-based livelihoods, Microfinance and Institutional Development. More

Sandeep Panikkal holds a Masters’s degree in Business Administration. He has a work experience of more than thirteen years with various banking institutions like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, International Commercial Bank in Africa and Development Credit Bank (DCB). In his last Assignment with DCB he was responsible for starting up Microfinance division (wholesale and retail) and developing bank’s financial inclusion strategy through Business correspondents/facilitators. His area of interest includes Risk Management, Market Research & Pilot Testing, Costing & Pricing of financial services, and Strategic Business Planning.

B. Anjaneyulu is a graduate in General and Advance Management. He has a career of nearly two decades, with rich experience at various levels within the development sector. Over the years he has worked at mid and senior management levels in different organisations involved in livelihood promotion and microfinance. He has been involved in supporting a variety of organisations through training, technical support and consultancy services. More

Mukesh Sadana as a decade and a half of experience in sales and marketing- primarily in rural areas. He has worked in apparel retailing, FMCG and rural & micro banking space. He is a science graduate from HNB Garhwal University and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from IRMA. More

Akhilesh Singh has over a decade of experience in microfinance sector. After an Advance Diploma in Rural Technology Development and Management he has gained extensive experience in field level operations in microfinance, particularly at Cashpor. His experience has been in the areas of microfinance operations, micro insurance, strategic business planning, fund mobilisation and training. He has worked in some of the poorest parts of the country and has first hand experience in piloting microfinance programmes for very poor communities. More

Soumya Harsh Pandey has over five years of experience in microfinance sector. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management at the Indian Institute of Forest Management in Bhopal with specialization in micro finance. His experience has been with BASIX and Intellecap where he worked on core microfinance operations, assisting NGO MFIs, Co-operatives and entrepreneurs in setting up their systems and processes for starting microfinance operations. N. A. Venkata has nearly a decade of experience in commercial and development finance. Masters in Business Management, he has also attended various technical courses related to financial analysis and livelihood promotion. Venkata has worked at different operational and managerial levels within BASIX and other development finance organisations. He also brings in experience of working in different parts of the country with Community Based Organisations, NGO MFIs, Co-operatives with a focus on providing technical assistance for setting up and streamlining their Microfinance operationsMore

Anup Singh completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management at the Indian Institute of Forest Management in Bhopal with specialization in micro finance and data analysis. He is a gold medallist in Bachelor of Technology (Food and Dairy Technology). More

Sachin Kumar has over six years of experience in microfinance. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management at the Indian Institute of Forest Management in Bhopal with specialisation in microfinance. His experience in microfinance has covered the delivery of financial services, directly and through a variety of channels like SHGs, ROSCAs, NGO-MFIs, and in developing internal systems of management and control for MFIs. Before joining MicroSave he had been working very extensively with BASIX in field operations and institutional development. He also worked with United Nations-India in the field of knowledge management for the microfinance sector at the Solution Exchange programme. More

Nitin Garg is a mechanical engineer and an MBA with specialisation in Finance and International Business. He has nearly six years of front-line experience in microfinance, project management, business development and marketing in a wide variety of settings. He brings in experience in project planning, financial planning, market planning and execution, competitor and market analysis. More

Piyush Prasoon has over four years experience within the microfinance and livelihood promotion. He has completed a Masters Degree in Agriculture from GBPUAT. His experience has been in microfinance operations, market research, livelihood management and product development. Piyush was instrumental in developing and building a start-up MFI in an under served area of the North. More
